FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATE / CLINICAL ASSISTANT
Job Summary:
This volunteer position is for an International medical graduate who is motivated and looking to get experience in the field of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Medical weight loss. This position provides you with strong clinical experience which will help you advance your skills and further your chances of success in future residency training and fellowship.
Responsibilities:
- Function as an assistant to the clinical provider (MD/NP/PA), taking clinical notes, updating medical records, and monitoring patient’s progress, labwork, imaging, and participating in treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- A Graduate of Foreign Medical School (FMG)
- Should have completed all steps of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) exam on the first attempt
- Should be certified by Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG), USA
- Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Should be a team player and is willing to share and acquire new clinical knowledge
- Willing to learn E-Clinical works EMR software and has experience with Excel, Adobe, Word, PowerPoint
